Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac is to embark on a special monitoring mission abroad as he moves to strengthen his squad for the World Cup. The Serb has revealed his desire to globetrot and scout for new talents as the Black Stars seek to go one better than the second round berth at the last World Cup.
Rajevac's trip has been approved by the Ghana Football Association.
"By monitoring, the coach discovered Hans Adu-Sarpei who last played for Ghana in a friendly against Tunisia here in Accra.
The coach watched him at his club (Bayern Leverkusen) and called him,"Ghana FA President Kwesi Nyantakyi said at a press conference.
"The coach also monitored players of our opponents like Burkina Faso's Jonathan Pitriopa of Hamburg and others.
"Before we played Mali in the qualifiers, he watched this defender Coulibaly and realized that he chases opponents everywhere they went.
So he told Mathew Amoah to drive him away from their 18-yard box and that paved the way for Kwadwo Asamoah to score."
Rajevac will take some days off before bouncing back to work.
