President Mills begins a three – day working visit to the Ashanti Region today. 

Whilst in the region President Mills will inspect work at the Sokoban Wood Village, address a durbar of Chiefs at Manhyia and then visit the Ejura Farms. 

He will also pay a courtesy call on the Mampong hene and address a durbar of Chiefs and people of the Adansi area at Obuasi on Saturday. 

He will leave for Sunyani to be part of the 50th anniversary of the creation of the region.
