United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is to assist Ghana in capacity building programmes and pollution prevention as well as other environmental hazards associated with Ghana’s offshore oil operations.  

This is part of benefits Ghana is to derive from the 35th General Conference of UNESCO.  

The Minister of Education, Alex Tettey Enyo led Ghana’s delegation to the conference in Paris.
