Minister of transport inspects Kotoka Ariport  
Kotoka International Airport
 
Minister for Transportation Mike Hammah today visited the Accra Airport and other facilities to inspect preparedness of the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) for the arrival of US President Barrack Obama next week Friday.

The unannounced inspection took him to the international departures, arrivals, the jubilee Presidential lounge, the VVIP lounge, GCAA, GACL headquarters buildings and areas around the meeters and greeters concourse of the Airport.  

Feverish work including painting, decoration, landscaping and the mounting of additional flag posts are ongoing at the airport.  

Mr. Mike Hammah expressed satisfaction with the level of preparedness and urged managers of the facilities to ensure maximum maintenance culture.
