Stars to interact with HIV/AIDS patients
Two Ghanaian internationals, Michael Essien and John Mensah will be interacting with children diagnosed of HIV/AIDS, Friday afternoon in Accra. A session organized by Woyome Foundation for Africa (WOFA) - an HIV/AIDS Charity Organisation - which supports the cause of HIV infected persons in Ghana and Africa will see the Black Stars players visit the children at one of the beneficiary centres, the Ridge Hospital in the Ghanaian capital to interact with the children and the nurses.

A WOFA statement says both Ghanaian stars are ambassadors of the Foundation working to support the One-for-One campaign which aims at assisting with the provision of antiretroviral drugs, boosters, nutritional support and care to especially infected children.

Michael Essien and John Mensah, during the last quarter of 2007 supported an art exhibition to raise funds for the campaign.
