Rainstorm renders people of Bobrama homeless

A number of people at Bobrama in the Ellembele District of the Western Region, have been rendered homeless after a rainstorm ripped off the roofs of their houses and collapsed many more.  The damage caused is estimated to be GHC 7,000.  The worse affected area in the community is the Christian Divine Healing Church.  The Assembly member, Lord Duku disclosed this to Radio Ghana in Takoradi when he accompanied the Tufuhene of the town, Nana Nyamekeh Alima to inspect the extent of the damage.

Mr. Duku sympathized with the victims and assured them that NADMO will come to their aid.  Nana Nyamekeh Alima called on the District Assembly to as a matter of urgency assist the victims to re-roof their house and repair the damaged ones.
