Burkina Faso’s Minister of Defence, Yero Boly, has called for stronger military co-operation between Ghana and Burkina Faso. This, he said, will lead to the creation of a peaceful atmosphere appropriate for the development of two countries.
The Minister for Energy, Dr. Joe Oteng-Adjei has urged staff of the Ghana Grid Company, GRIDCo not to relent in their efforts at ensuring the availability of electricity to Ghanaians. He said the government is much aware of the current stresses on the national transmission grid, resulting from an aging infrastructure and the rapid seven percent annual average growing demands for power. Dr. Oteng-Adjei said this when he paid a familiarization visit to the company in Tema. He assured GRIDCo of the governments support in its quest to build a resilient grid that will retain the network to a world class reliability level.
