As Metropolitan, municipal and district assemblies continue to discover their potentials to enhance them for economic upliftment of their areas, the Yilo Krobo Municipality is fortunate to have discovered a new tourist site.

Yilo Krobo Municipality without doubt boasts of a number of tourism
potentials some of which are well known and developed while others are yet to be developed. Among these is the famous Boti fall. The discovery of the new Waterfall at Alokwem, Adjikpo is therefore welcome news.

To show how important this discovery means to the assembly, the municipal chief executive, Andrews Sodah said a Committee made up of the Presiding Member (PM), the Municipal Budget Officer (MBO), Head of Municipal Works Department, Municipal Town and Country Planning Officer (MTCPO) led by the Municipal Planning officer has been charged to visit the site and report on the way forward for consideration.

It is the hope of the assembly that by the time the committee would
finish and present its report on the new waterfall, the assembly would be ready financially to act immediately.
