President John Mahama has decided that the remains of President John Evans Atta Mills, be laid to rest next week Friday, August 10, at a specially designated place between Castle Drive and the Marine Drive in Accra.

A statement signed by the Chairman of the funeral planning committee, Kofi Totobi Quakyi said the area will subsequently be developed into a Presidential Mausoleum.

It said the decision follows consultations and recommendations of the funeral planning committee.
