President Akufo-Addo Asks Media To Guard Against Fake News 

President Akufo-Addo has urged the media to guard against deliberate misinformation, which he believes is a major threat to the news world. 

Speaking at the 12th Congregation of the Ghana Institute of Journalism, President Akufo-Addo asked the media to build a culture of professionalism and high standard. 

The President pushed for training of media personnel and self-regulation. 

He cautioned practitioners not to sacrifice the integrity and future of the nation for today's headlines and breaking news.
