Players in transport sector meet to assess performance The Ministry of Transport is holding a mid-year review conference in Koforidua to assess the sector’s performance and chart a sustainable development pathway to achieve the Ghana Beyond Aid agenda. The sector Minister, Kwaku Ofori Asiamah reiterated the need for broader stakeholder engagement on the towing of disabled and abandoned vehicles. Mr. Asiamah said the focus of the Ministry is to find innovative ways to tackle urban mobility. He added that the Ghana beyond Aid Agenda requires a deliberate and qualitative change in all aspects of human endeavour, especially in the economy and infrastructure for which the transport sector plays a key role. The Eastern Regional Minister, Eric Kwakye Darfour said such mid-year review provides transport stakeholders the opportunity to measure the success and address challenges to meet the expected goals at the end of the year. gbcghanaonline ---DECRYPTED---
