Cut supply chain of narcotic substances- Peter Yaro

Executive Director of Basic Needs Ghana, Peter Yaro has stressed the need to cut the supply chain of narcotic substances to enable users cope without the drug. 

Mr. Yaro explained that  when the  supply chain is cut users would have no choice but to direct  their energies into something more beneficial while peddlers would  also be  discouraged from selling  because they would  not  have  buyers. 

Speaking to GBC’s Nana Ama Omari, Mr. Yaro called on government to introduce an incentive or  alternative trade for peddlers and educate users on the  effects of narcotic drugs.
