Inter-regional stakeholders review meeting on Newborn care held in Bolgatanga The Upper East Regional Minister, Rockson Ayine Bukari, said government is working to strengthen the critical area of emergency health care services through the procurement of 275 ambulances this year. He stated that the National Ambulance Service will undergo expansion in human resources to make services more accessible to all segments of the population needed. Mr. Bukari said President Akufo-Addo’s led administration will continue to count on the active support of all stakeholders to reach all newborns with quality health services. He commended UNICEF and KOICA for supporting the implementation of the quality improvement project and all other stakeholders who played one role or the other.
