Dr. Ofosu said the rollout of the pilot project in one municipality and three districts in the Upper East Region, there has been much improvement in the mortality indicators. 

He said still birth rate has reduced from 1.5 per 1,000 live births in 2016 to 1.3 per 1,000 live births in 2017. 

According to Dr. Ofosu, newborn deaths have reduced from 7.7 per 1,000 live births in 2017 to 6.4 per 1,000 live births in 2018.
