Parliament Goes On Recess After Failing To Punish Kennedy Agyapong 

Parliament has deferred the consideration of the Privileges Committee’s report that enquired into the contempt allegations against Assin Central Member of Parliament (MP), Kennedy Agyapong.  

The Majority Leader, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu explained that this was to make sure Parliament recessed without any tensions. 

He said the House had a pre-sitting meeting and decided that it wanted to leave on a good note and come back to consider the matter.
