Brong Ahafo: Seikwa Health Center in need of ambulance The Physician Assistant in Charge of the Seikwa Health Center, in the Tain District of Brong Ahafo, Sebastian Vog-Enga has appealed to government to as a matter of urgency provide the facility with an ambulance service to facilitate health care delivery. Mr. Vog-Enga made the appeal when he received an electric generator for the Health Center donated by the Nkoranman Citizens based in the US. He described the donation as timely, because most medications and other consumables that require storage are destroyed during power outages. The Physician Assistant said almost all the roofs of the building are leaking badly, while the floor needs tiles and hospital beds. He said regular water supply is also a concern. Bed bugs infestation there also calls for regular fumigation at the facility. A citizen of the town, based in Accra, Francis Tewiah, made the presentation on behalf of the Nkoranman Citizens based in the US. He asked management and staff to take good care of the generator. The Acting President of Seikwa Traditional Council, Nana Yaw Kaka, thanked the donors for the support. He said the Council is aware of the challenges of the hospital and called for support to facilitate health care delivery in the community. gbcghanaonline.com ---DECRYPTED---
