National Daily Minimum Wage up 10%

The National Daily Minimum Wage has been increased from GHC 9.68P to GHC10.65 p effective January 2019. 

This translates into an increase in nominal value of one cedi three pesewas.  

The decision was arrived at after deliberations of the National Tripartite Committee in Accra. 

A communique issued by the Tripartite Committee directs all institutions whose Daily Minimum Wage is below the new basic Wage to adjust it wages upward from January One next year.
