Jean Mensa 'good choice' for EC - Robert Jackson	

The US Ambassador to Ghana, Robert Jackson says persons or political parties with concerns about President Akufo-Addo's nominee for the new EC Chairperson position should articulate their concerns during Mrs. Jean Mensa's vetting process. 

He described the new EC Chairperson nominee as a ''good choice'' for the slot and said it is critical that Ghana's Electoral Commission returns to work to plan for the District Assemblies Election and the 2020 General Election, to keep Ghana's democratic trajectory in place. 

Ambassador Jackson was speaking with journalists at the US Embassy in Accra where he bid farewell after a two and half year duty tour in Ghana.
