"Agrofie" goes to U.S. Ghanaians in the states of Illinois, Georgia and Ohio in the United United States of America will have the chance to taste some culturally-relevant entertainment when "Agrofie", a local television programme sponsored by Vodafone Cash tours there between July 28 and August 11. Hosted by well-known actor, David Dontoh and assisted by Abena Akuffo, Agrofie is a magazine programme which has been in existence since 2011. It is produced by Osmo Nana Kwame Addo's Katamadara Concepts company. The programme which shows on GTV and TV7 on Saturday evenings, seeks to impart discerning information on cultural practices, social behaviour and development attitudes to viewers in an entertaining way. Participants usually win a variety of prizes. United States According to Kwame Addo, the Executive Producer, it had long been his wish to take the programme to the United States. He was grateful to Ambassador Dr Barfour Adjei-Barwuah and his staff, as well as the Ghana Councils in the States to be toured and the American Embassy in Accra, for editions of the programme to be recorded in the United States. Other places beside Ghana which has hosted the popular Vodafone Cash Agrofie since its inception, include South Africa, Gabon, United Arab Emirates, Equitorial Guinea and Holland.
