Ghanaian Times says that the President has made it part of his major activities to tour the regions during the year to interact with the chiefs and people across the country, as well as inspect development projects in the communities. Additionally, the presidential field trips to all the regions across the country serve as a kind of "monitoring and evaluation" visits that would afford the president the opportunity to hear at first hand the concerns of the people who have entrusted him the mandate to govern and better their lot. Our knowledge above the presidential trips is that often, infrastructure such as good roads, electricity, schools and hospital are the major needs of the people and which they ask the government to provide. The government would in turn look at the resources available and determine which ones to provide.
