Parliament summons GES, WAEC over 2018 WASSCE results

The Ghana Education Service and the West African Examination Council (WAEC) have been summoned to appear before the Parliamentary Select Committee on Education over the abysmal performance of students in the 2018 WASSCE.  

The results, released last week, indicate close to 200,000 students may not gain access to tertiary institutions in the country due to poor performance in the core subjects.
