Former Vice President Amissah-Arthur To Be Buried At Military Cemetery 

The family of the late Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur, has announced that the former vice president will be buried at the Military Cemetery at Burma Camp in Accra.

A statement signed by Mr. Jabesh Amissah-Arthur on behalf of the family said the remains of the former vice president will be laid in state at the foyer of the Accra International Conference Centre for filing past by the general public on Thursday July 26 and burial service held on Friday, July 27, after which he will be laid to rest.

The statement urges the general public to note that, no cameras would be allowed in the foyer.

Burial and Funeral arrangements of the Former Vice President, H.E. Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur 

The Anona Ebusua of Moree and Cape Coast, Mother, Wife, Siblings, and Children of H.E. Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur wish to announce the burial and final funeral rites as follows: 

Thursday 26th July 2018 
The former Vice President’s mortal remains will be laid in state at the foyer of the Accra International Conference Centre for filing past by the general public from 08:00am to 6:00pm. 

*Please note that no cameras would be allowed in the foyer* 

Friday 27th July 2018 
A burial service will be held in the auditorium of the Accra International Conference Centre from 9:00am to 12:00noon. Additional seating will be available at the forecourt of State House and the service will be streamed live as well. 

The mortal remains of the former Vice President will be driven through some principal streets of Accra after the Burial service. Interment will follow at the Military Cemetery, Burma Camp.

Final funeral rites and reception will be at the forecourt of State House from 2:00pm.
