DVLA offers mobile service to renew drivers' licence The Chief Executive Officer of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), Kwasi Agyeman Busia has said institutions, organisations and groups must take advantage of the Authority's mobile service to renew their driver's licence. This, he said, will help to curb the activities of middlemen popularly referred to as ‘goro boys’. Mr. Busia said this when the Authority educated and offered mobile service to drivers at the Tema Ashaiman station at Abeka Lapaz in Accra. He noted that the DVLA is offering the service to the drivers because most commercial drivers are unable to go to the DVLA offices to renew their licences due to the nature of their work. Expressing gratitude to the Authority, the P.R.O of Concerned Drivers Association of Ghana, David Agboado, said it will help them to renew their licences without going through the cumbersome process experienced previously.
