World Cup 2018 live: Belgium battles England for third place

Belgium and England meet at the Krestovsky Stadium in Saint Petersburg in the third-place play-off on Saturday (July 14) afternoon.

Both sides have been involved in them once, Belgium in 1986 and England four years later.

Belgium's Thomas Meunier returns after suspension but England's Kieran Trippier, who hobbled off against Croatia, is a massive doubt.

Belgium are expected to make changes, but star striker Romelu Lukaku is likely to start as he chases the Golden Boot, which is currently in the hands of Harry Kane on six goals.

These two were in the same group and Belgium came out on top, with a 1-0 victory thanks to a sublime effort from Adnan Januzaj.

The Belgians have scored the most goals in this World Cup with 14 goals in total. England has beaten its own record with 12 goals this World Cup.

This is just the second time that two teams have met twice in a World Cup. Turkey and Brazil met twice in the 2002 World Cup.
