Addo Kufuor describes JH as a man of great intellect, eloquent and well mannered politician A former Minister of Defence during the previous New Patriotic Party, (NPP) government, Dr. Kwame Addo Kufuor, has described the late Mr. J. H. Mensah a man of great intellect, eloquent and well mannered politician who made positive impact on the government of the John Agyekum Kufuor regime and also as a Leader of the Minority Caucus in Parliament. According to Dr. Addo Kufuor, the late J.H. Mensah, aside from mentoring most of the Minority members during the second parliament of the 4th Republic due to his vast experience gained from being a functionary of the erstwhile Dr. Nkrumah and Busia governments, also a man of many parts such that he was a great asset not only to the NPP but the nation at large. Dr. Addo Kufuor was sharing memories of the late J.H. Mensah during the following interview with GBC's Ashanti Regional Correspondent, Nicholas Osei-Wusu in Kumasi. Born in October 1928 in Sekondi in the Western Region, Mr. JH Mensah died at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.
