Ghana and Venezuela to cooperate in oil sector
Ghana and Venezuela are puttig plans into place to promote technical cooperation and training in the area of energy, especially the oil sector, the Chancellor of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, has disclosed.
The head of Venezuelan diplomacy, whomet with the Chief Executive officer of Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), Dr. Kofi Koduah Sarpong, said the latter had shown interest in his country's methods of production in the oil industry.
"KK Sarpong expressed his admiration for our oil industry. They will visit Venezuela to learn about our centennial experience and design a plan for technical cooperation and training in energy, "the Venezuelan foreign minister wrote on his Twitter.
The visit to Ghana is part of the South-South Dignity Tour, which took Arreaza last week to Mozambique and then to South African territory, with tge purpose of trengthening relations in various areas, such as energy, ecominero and economic, as well as the promotion of investments and the establishment of joint work agendas based on the development of the peoples.
