Every Locked door answers to its key – Rev. Dominic Ziba The Head Pastor of HolyGhost Temple Assemblies of God church in Bolgatanga, Rev. Dominic Ziba, has said most people in the country are struggling because they have refused to think. According to him, if Christians and for that matter the people in the country decide to think and generate innovative ideas they do not need a sermon or a miracle to succeed in life. In a sermon on Sunday to his congregation, Rev. Ziba stated that when Christians reject understanding in life they will find themselves assembled with the dead. Delivering his message on the topic “Management the Priority for Success in Life”, Rev. Ziba explained that success is a carefully thought-out adventure by an individual. He reminded Christians that they can only be success through hard work and determination. The Head Pastor of HolyGhost Temple Assemblies of God church said life is not just about spiritual things but physical things as well. He explained that Christians have to examine themselves physically at all times in order to earn a decent living. Rev. Ziba who is also the Upper East Regional Superintendent for Zone “A” of the Assemblies of God Church said if Christians in the country want to succeed in life they should think through and stop copying other people’s life styles. He noted that every locked door answers to its key. He said most people in the country are struggling in their marriages, businesses and their workplaces because they have not found the right key to their problems. Rev. Ziba said the Bible has pointed it out to all believers in Proverbs chapter 21:7 that the violence of the wicked will drag them away, for they refuse to do what is right. He said faith is not substitute to idleness, adding that Christians should not just sit and expect success to come from somewhere but should rather work hard to achieve their set goals. He said the plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty. Rev. Ziba said no one is special all is about discovering your potentials and hard work. He expressed the need for each and everyone on this earth to have a benchmark. He said everybody should know where he or she is going with his life and what he or she wants to achieve in life. Rev. Ziba stressed that whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor. He revealed that every object of value carries a cost. He emphasized that nothing in life is for free. He reiterated that everybody should be ready to pay to acquire something meaningful in life. He stated that there is no great story without a great price. He urged Christians all over the world to rise-up and challenge themselves that they must get somewhere better than where they are. Rev. Ziba underscored the need for Christians to add value to themselves. He noted that whoever loves pleasure will become poor, stressing that whoever loves wine and olive oil will never be rich. He said every lazy person should forget about comfort in life. He charged Christians not to be lazy like Sampson who was lazy in prayers but be proactive in all their endeavors. Rev. Ziba stated that the craving of a sluggard will be the death of him, because his hands refuse to work. Meanwhile, Rev. Dominic Ziba hinted that plans are far advanced for the church to add Ashanti Twi language to the existing two languages (English and Grunne) spoken in the church for the benefit of the Twi speaking community.
