The criminal court trying the case involving the the Attorney General V the formal chief executive of Cocobod, Dr Stephen Opuni and two others has ordered the police investigator in the case to procure all relevant documents from Cocobod. These documents will be forwarded to the Attorney General who is expected to file on Friday the 13th of this month. The high Court made the order after the defense counsel insisted on the availability of the said documents which they sited at Cocobod. The Court presided over by Justice Clemence Honyenugah was informed that the said documents had been returned from the Economic and Organise Crime Office (EOCO) to Cocobod. The AG told the court that they have served defense with all necessary documents they intend to rely on in court and is therefore not aware of any other documents ,accusing defense of deliberately trying to delay the start of the trial. Meanwhile the trial is expected to commence on 16th of this month. Dr Opuni and Agricult Ghana Limited and Seidu Agongo are in Court facing 26 charges for causing financial loss to the state.
