Former VEEP Amissah-Arthur to be buried July 27 Late Vice President, Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur will be buried on 27th of this month. The body will be laid in state at the Accra International Conference Centre and the filing past will begin at 5am to 9am. Memorial and burial service follows immediately. This was announced at a one week observance at the Ridge Church in Accra on Friday. The burial and memorial service will be followed by a private burial and it will be strictly by invitation. The final thanksgiving service will be held at the conference centre on July 28, the following day at 9am. A high powered government delegation led by the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, were among mouners. Former President John Mahama, under whom Mr. Amissah-Arthur served as Vice President, his wife Lordina, former ministers and appointees, and MPs attended the one week observation.
