Azuma @60 celebrations begins with JJ Rawlings


The legendary 3-time world boxing champion, 'The Professor' Azumah Nelson, has marked his 60th birthday with former president Jerry John Rawlings at his office on Friday.

In a tweet, former president Rawlings said: "We started the Azumah Nelson @ 60 celebrations early with a lighthearted meeting at my office this morning. Happy Diamond anniversary to Africa's greatest boxer, Azumah Nelson. I wish you good health and long life."

Mr. Azumah Nelson, born July 19, 1958, will celebrate his 60th birthday with an action-packed fight night at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra on July 21.
