Azuma Nelson @60 begins with JJ Rawlings


The legendary 3-time world boxing champion, 'The Professor' Azumah Nelson, has marked his 60th birthday with former president Jerry John Rawlings at his office on Friday.

In a tweeted video, former president Rawlings said: "We started the Azumah Nelson @ 60 celebrations early with a lighthearted meeting at my office this morning. Happy Diamond anniversary to Africa's greatest boxer, Azumah Nelson. I wish you good health and long life."

Mr. Azumah Nelson was born July 19, 1958 will celebrate his 60th birthday with an action packed fight night at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra on July 21.
