NPP Holds National Delegates Confab Today The rulling New Patriotic Party (NPP) is holding its national delegate’s conference in Koforidua Today, Saturday, July 7 and ends on Sunday July 8 with a church service at the International Central Gospel Church at Koforidua. The conference started with Muslim prayers led by The Minister for Zongo and Inner City Development, Alhaji Boniface Abubakar Saddique at the Koforidua Central Mosque. It is the first delegates conference of the party after it won the elections in 2016. It is also the first, after all the confusion that rocked the party prior to the 2016 polls, which culminated in the suspension of former party Chairman Paul Afoko, General Secretary Kwabena Agyepong and the Second Vice Chairman Sammy Crabbe. Koforidua, the place chosen to host the event, is enveloped in a festive mood. There is real excitement in the air as the municipality has been turned into a beehive of political activity. Every street in the Municipality is busy with most cars branded in party colours, while party flags criss-cross the area. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his Vice Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu and former president John Agyekum Kuffour are expected to be at today's confab. GBCONLINE ---DECRYPTED---
