President Akufo-Addo to cut sod for work to start on Pokuase Interchange

The Department of Urban Roads through the Ministry Of Roads And Highways will Monday July 3 afternoon cut the sod for the construction of the Pokuase Interchange. 

The Government of Ghana and the African Development Bank (AfDB) signed an agreement for the Accra Urban Transport Project, which includes the construction of a three-tier interchange at Pokuase on the Accra-Nsawam road. 

The project will cost $94 million and is expected upon completion to ease traffic flow considerably and shorten travel time for commuters. 

Out of this, the AfDB will provide about $83 million and the remaining $11.7million will come from the Government of Ghana.
