Desist from protecting robbers- DCOP Cautions Spiritualists


The Central Regional Police Commander, DCOP, Paul Awunie, has cautioned mallams and juju men who provide talisman to robbers for protection, to desist from it, since such activities are an affront to the law.
 
DCOP Awunie gave the caution at a news briefing in Cape Coast, after the Police made an arrest of five suspected armed robbers from their hide-outs at Gomoa Potsin.

The Police retrieved mobile phones, short guns, cartridge, wax prints and foreign pistols from the hideouts.

DCOP Awunie entreated the public to give the Police credible information to help apprehend armed robbers.
