Presidential Taskforce deliberates on ECOWAS Single Currency

President Akufo-Addo has entreated the Presidential Taskforce and ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government to give Presidential assent to the implementation of the revised roadmap which will see to the adoption of a Single Currency. 

Making a case for the adoption, he said the single currency is to encourage the production of goods and services in the region.  

President Akufo-Addo was speaking at the Fifth Meeting of the Presidential Taskforce on ECOWAS Single Currency in Accra.
