Expectations Of Ghanaians Ahead Of 2018 SONA The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will tomorrow (February 8), fulfil a constitutional obligation by presenting the State of the Nation Address (SONA) to Parliament. Many are the expectations of people but key among them are issues of the economy and security. Ahead of the Address, GBC’s Radio Ghana has been finding out expectations of people from across the country. Ashanti Region Some residents in the Ashanti Regional Capital, Kumasi have expressed their views on the current state of the country and made suggestions towards enhancing socio-economic development. Among the issues raised are cost of doing business, the state of security in the region and joblessness which they maintain must be addressed with urgency. Western Region From the Western Region our reporter Marie Aziz Tunde says most people mentioned the issue of youth unemployment, funding of the free Senior High School policy and security as matters they expect the President to touch on.
