Volta to be heard today at Commission of Inquiry into creation of new Regions Volta will today take its turn before the Commission of Inquiry into petitions for the creation of new regions. Chairperson of the ten Member Committee, a former Supreme Court Judge, Justice Allan Brobbey, says the meeting is expected to provide petitioners an opportunity to justify their demands for the creation of new regions. The Commission of Inquiry set up to solicit views of petitioners and residents on the creation of new regions will commenced sitting Monday. The Commission received petitioners from the Western Region yesterday. According to the Minister for Regional Reorganisation and Development, Dan Botwe, petitioners from Brong-Ahafo will also appear before the Commission on Thursday November 23 and that of the Northern Region on November 29.
