ISSER lauds government for stabilising economy The Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER) of the University of Ghana, has commended government for turning the economy around in the short term since it took office. The Institute is however, worried about how narrow, non-inclusive and sustainable the sources of growth have been. Addressing the media in Accra to share the Institute's opinion on the 2018 Budget Statement and Economic Policy, the Head of the Economics Division at ISSER, Dr. Charles Ackah, said for the country to achieve sustained higher growth, there is the need for more radical transformation measures.
