Initiative to support women entrepreneurs in the offing

The National Board for Small Scale Industries is embarking on an initiative to provide support to women entrepreneurs in the country. 

The initiative, dubbed "incubation and acceleration" is aimed at providing financial, non-financial and working spaces as well as accelerating the growth of existing businesses.

The Executive Director of the Board, Kosi Yankey said women entrepreneurs find it difficult to move beyond the micro-level. 

That is why it has become important to implement the initiative to move them to the next level.
