Colleges of Education teachers intensify strike as negotiations breakdown The Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG), has resolved to continue its nationwide strike following the breakdown of negotiations with the government over unpaid salary arrears. The Association had earlier declared its intention to resume teaching if government could give a written undertaking detailing timelines as to when to pay members but the National Secretary of CETAG, Prince Obeng-Hemah, told GBC's Radio Ghana that the response received from government so far is not encouraging. In view of this, Mr. Obeng-Hemah said the Association will continue with the indefinite strike. GBCONLINE ---DECRYPTED---
