Parliament Expected To Pass Office Of Special Prosecutor Bill Tonight Parliament is expected to pass the Office of the Special Prosecutor Bill into law tonight. Our correspondent says there are only three clauses left before it goes through consideration and passage. The creation of the Office of the Special Prosecutor was a major campaign promise of then candidate Akufo-Addo to fight corruption. In an interview with GBC’s Radio Ghana earlier in the day, the Chairman of the Legal, Constitutional and Parliamentary Affairs Committee, Ben Abdallah Bandah said the Bill is not being rushed as some perceive. Meanwhile the Minister of Finance will tomorrow (November 14), present the Budget for the next financial year. Expectations are; to have some tax cuts and a reduction in electricity tariffs.
