Most electrical cables on the market are fake – GSA

The Executive Director of the Ghana Standards Authority (GSA),  Professor Alex Dodoo, has asked the public to ensure that electrical cables they buy on the open market are genuine.  

This is because only few of them are genuine.  He said the public should check markings on the cables to know their country of origin, size and other attributes before patronage.  

Dr. Dodoo was speaking at a stakeholder forum in Accra.

The Ghana Standards Authority therefore wants the public to check markings on electrical cables on the market before patronage.
