Court summons pathologist over delayed JB autopsy report

The Accra District Court has summoned the pathologist who conducted the autopsy on former Member of Parliament (MP) for Abuakwa North, JB Danquah-Adu to appear before it on November 21. 

Dr Lawrence Adusei is to appear before the court, presided over by Arit Nsemoh, to explain why the full autopsy report had not been submitted to the Police 21 months after the murder of the former MP. 

The court today (November 10), ordered Dr Adusei to release the report to the Police to enhance investigations. 

The Prosecutor, DSP George Amegah informed the court that the autopsy report had still not been submitted to the Police.  

Dr Adusei is the same pathologist who a District Court, presided over by Ebenezer Kweku Ansah, on October 26 ordered to release the autopsy report on Major Maxwell Adam Mahama to the Police by November 23, 2017.
