Minority to summon Finance Minister over GHc177M bond

The Minority is to summon the Finance Minister before the House to answer why the government spent more than GH¢177 million to raise a bond of GH¢700 million. 

Ranking Member on the Finance Committee, Cassiel Ato Forson said it is unacceptable that such a huge sum of money should be spent on the bond.  

Mr. Ato Forson who spoke to GBC’s Bubu Klinogo stated that government should not have spent more than GH¢1.4 million on the bond.
