The Daily Graphic calls on government to use the 2018 budget to be presented to Parliament next week to initiate measures to block loopholes in revenue mobilisation. According to the paper, the country's revenue mobilisation is often below appreciable levels because only a fraction of the population actually pays tax. It adds that initiatives must also be outlined to provide safety nets for the people, especially those who live below the poverty line.

The Daily Heritage believes time has come for the Ghana Education Service to take a hard look at the educational system and fine-tune it to meet international standards so that the dreams of young people are not shattered because of one condition or the other. The paper mentions how some students were sacked from school because they had Dyslexia, a learning disorder that primarily affects the skills involved in accurate and fluent word reading and spelling. The paper calls on the GES to help create more awareness on the issue to help address it.
