GES to absorb about 3,000 Arabic teachers - VEEP Bawumia

About 3,000 Arabic teachers are to be absorbed by the Ghana Education Service to promote the study of Arabic. 

Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia announced this when he addressed Moslems at Prang in the Brong-Ahafo region. 

It was during the celebration of Maulid-the birth of Sheikh Alhaji Ahmed Tijani, the founder of the Tijaniyya sect.
