Government formulates Nationally Determined Contribution Implementation Plan

Government is formulating a Nationally Determined Contribution Implementation Plan as its commitment to the Paris Agreement.
 
Of the 31 initiatives in the plan, 32 percent of the interventions are from the energy sector.

The Minister of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, Prof Kwabena Frimpong Boateng said this in a statement read on his behalf at an ongoing climate change conference in Germany.

He said 73 percent of the energy interventions are from renewable sources.
