Government gears up for 2017 Farmers Day

The Deputy Minister of Food and Agriculture in charge of Annual Crops, Dr. Sagre Bambangi has received more than sixty thousand Ghana cedis from three companies in Accra, towards this year's Farmer's Day celebration.
 
Addressing the donors, the Deputy Minister said government is putting adequate measures in place to ensure that this year's Farmers' Day celebration motivates farmers enough to put in their best.
 
He said government sees agriculture as the backbone of the country's development and will do its best to efficiently motivate farmers who are the key players in the industry.
