Government secures funds for construction of 20 technical schools

Government has secured funding from Saudi Arabia for the construction of 20 technical schools across the country.
 
Minister of State in Charge of Tertiary Education, Professor Kwesi Yankah stated this at a durbar of chiefs and people of Agona Duakwa held to climax their annual Akwambo festival. 

Prof. Yankah said each region would get two of the 20 technical schools, equipped with modern tools, adding that the establishment of the institutions would start before the end of this year. 

He said one of the technical schools would be established at Agona Duakwa in the Agona East District of the Central Region.
