The Ghanaian Times is of the view that society must be blamed for the increase in sexual violence which are being perpetrated. The paper says it is time for law makers to enact new laws that are deterrent and tougher to deal with offenders. The paper additionally calls on society, religious leaders, as well as influential people in society to desist from intervening in sexual violence issues and settling such cases behind closed doors. The Times calls on the security agencies to do their duty by arresting and prosecuting offenders adding that the Judicial service must do the needful by punishing offenders. 

The Daily Graphic commends the All Nations University in Koforidua for becoming the first university to launch Ghana's first satellite, GhanaSat-1 which has become the first sub -Saharan African country to send a satellite into orbit. The Satellite which is built by a group of Ghanaian students is described as remarkable as it puts the country on the global space map. The paper says the feat must be emulated by all universities in the country adding that it is its expectation that this practical demonstration by the students will open bigger doors for serious technology by the country.
